This largest bungalow measures 112 sqm offers plenty of space and panoramic ocean views making it perfect for families or groups. It features a king bed in the main bedroom and a queen bed with desk in the second bedroom which shares access to bathroom, kitchen and entry living room verandah. For kids aged five and older, there’s a cozy double-size bed in a fun loft space accessible via a secure built-in ladder from the main bedroom. The villa includes a full, well-equipped kitchen with a dining table that seats six, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate lockable water closet for added privacy. A highlight of this bungalow is the large covered and security-screened veranda, complete with a queen futon sofabed, coffee table, and a second dining table with four chairs — ideal for enjoying the ocean breeze and great ocean views. Can be better
The location is great right next to the beach with great views. The rooms at the resort need a thorough cleaning. The bedsheets had stains and upon telling the staff they changed sheets and yet again the stains were still there. The blankets had a foul stench which made us uncomfortable to sleep. The bathroom had no door which limited our privacy.

Thanks for expressing your opinions. We have ordered new sheets. Most our sheets are new or like new. You apparently got the end of the lot. While they may have had minor stains, they certainly were clean. It's possible the blankets were a bit musty because they don't get used often. Sorry about that. We would have been happy to launder them at your request. As far as the bathroom, I have to wonder if you have confused us with another hotel.
Honestly. The Coco Cottage where you stayed has a door on each side of the bathroom. Both are lockable. One leads to the 2nd bedroom. The other door enters the bathroom from the lounge. There is a third interior door to the separate toilet inside the main bathroom. So I don't understand you there. It's difficult to understand your comment about cleanliness. The entire cottage was recently completely renovated and thoroughly cleaned top to bottom. We pride ourselves in making sure every corner is cleaned including under and behind furniture. But we will do our best to improve, thanks to you taking the time to write us. It is sometimes not easy to keep up with everyone's expectations at this budget price point.

Super endroit avec plage privée de toute beauté, grande et accessible depuis le cottage Le cottage coco est confortable, les lits peut être un peu trop grand par rapport à la taille des chambres Mezzanine sympa pour des ados Nécessite de prendre un taxi ou de louer un véhicule pour aller en ville ou toute activité hors snorkelling.

Extremely private and peaceful
Genes place has a wonderful beach and surroundings - extremely private and peaceful but with everything you would want. Clean comfortable roomy bure, highly recommend to anybody visiting Savusavu.

Super friendly and a gorgeous beach
Stayed at Siga Siga Sands with my wife and 3.5-year-old. Super comfortable, super friendly, and a gorgeous beach. If you don't want some splashy resort, but want to enjoy some tropical paradise, you could hardly do better.
Every day walking along the beach I saw something incredible and every evening enjoyed a cold beer watching one of the world's best sunsets. Even the other guests there were lovely.
Gene is a genuine super host
It is TOP! The place is much better than the pictures, very comfortable and clean. The house is located in a very beautiful property in front of the beach. It is perfect to relax and to do an amazing snorkeling. (We also went scuba diving in the region and the snorkel is just as good, we saw turtle, white tip sharks, several variety of soft and hard corals, fish etc).
Gene picked us the airport and showed us around. This was very good to get to know the region better. We highly recommend it for you and this is definitely a place that we would love to go back! Indian food can be other and it was very convenient. Also there is a full equipped kitchen.

By the way, we have completely torn down the kitchen building! A completely new kitchen double the size is going up now. It will be attached to the back wall and at same level as the front main room. It will be a super upgrade. It will be done in about 3 weeks.

The villa was perfect
SigaSiga sands is a great little spot to relax and enjoy your time in Savusavu. The villa was perfect for my three friends and I. Lots of space and everything you would need to live for any amount of time. The beach and the surrounding property were also very pretty and relaxing. The only thing I would suggest is that some effort be put into updating the electical system. During our 7 night stay, electricity was lost about 5 or 6 times due to blown fuzes or electical overload. This wasn’t a huge inconvenience because we didn’t really need power all that much anyways, but being unable to use fans or A/C during very high temperatures was a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Just beautiful
Great space and the grounds are just beautiful, sharing the ocean view that the resort have without the price tag. We had the smaller room which was fine, the newer room is definitely nicer if you want to pay the extra $25 night for the whole space.
The caretakers were lovely and Suneeta's food was tasty. One point to note is that you will have to take taxi's into town or to other locations which tended to be about $7 USD each way. Tuk Tuk the dog is also amazing.

SigaSiga is a great location
SigaSiga is a great location for a first Fiji experience. The place is really big, offering loads of space for walk & play with the kids. It has many goats and a couple of adorable dogs following you everywhere you go. You can kayak in the lagoon at high tide or simply walk in it at low tide. It is quiet and secluded but yet, only 12 mins drive from SavuSavu town where one can do shopping as well as finding a handful of restaurant and coffeeshop.
The SigaSiga staff is always available and they constantly go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible! The bure was clean, we had AC in a room which felt like luxury and was perfect for our 1yo who struggled a bit adjusting to the Fijian heat. The kitchen is very well equipped and you have everything you need. There are also several hundreds of DVDs available at the reception which was awesome in a rainy day!
If you have kids, we recommend spending a day at a nearby resort Coro Sun which offers a kids pool with a big slide. It’s only 2 mins drive from SigaSiga. Our only regret is to not have met Gene himself as he was travelling abroad during our stay... but the service we received was nevertheless outstanding!
