Welcome to SigaSiga Sands Resort in Fiji!
SigaSiga is pronounced singa-singa, like singing a song. This is the original native name for the property meaning Sunshine
There are so many beautiful places on earth. So why visit SigaSiga Sands? For starters, Fiji escaped the industrial revolution so we've got one of the cleanest environments in the world with a tropical climate that rarely leaves the 18-31°C / 70-85°F. Then there's the Fijian people! Untethered by the materialistic thinking of the "developed" world, the people here are happy and friendly beyond your imagination! Many Travel Guides claim Fijians are the friendliest people on earth. We couldn't agree more!
Your Cottage is surrounded by trimmed lawns, a vast variety of Flowers and Palms, Lily Ponds, and Pathways. With ALL of this set on what many people call Savusavu’s BEST BEACH, what are you waiting for?
Weddings, honeymoons and anniversaries are great reasons to Celebrate Life here. Many simply come here to unwind, enjoy the culture or grow deeper in love with life and each other.
Our resident caretaker family and staff have been with us since 1992 and are here to help you have your greatest Fiji vacation ever! We are often booked months in advance. My favorite resort in Fiji
I’ve been in SigaSiga Sands three times in the past three years. I found it to be the most amazing place to relax and learn about the Fijian culture. The wide open spaces, the privacy and the beautiful white sand beach is very inviting at any time of day or night. They have a wonderful caretaker family that lives on the other side of this huge property that is always available for anything I might need or want.
The cottage is keep very [Read more...]

Lovely unspoilt holiday spot
We stayed at the Plantation villa and had a lovely time.We have been to Fiji at least 20 times and we wanted to visit Savusau. We flew into Labasa because the plane is a lot larger than the one that flies directly and cheaper. We were met by Bablu who is very gracious and had a wonderful scenic drive to Savusavu. The Plantation villa was perfect and peaceful.I loved the beach which is similar to many Fijian beaches at low tide but there [Read more...]

Incredible house reef and delicious food
5 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from town is the sigasiga resort. The place is beautiful and has a incredible house reef about a 10-minute walk off shore. The family that looks after the place are very friendly and the food is delicious Indian food. You won't be disappointed if you stay here.

It was like living on my own private beach
The best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. It was like living on my own private beach. What a wonderfully beautiful place. Highly recommended if you want some rest and relaxation.

Stunning property with a lovely beach
This is a hidden gem! Stunning property with a lovely beach (though shallow even at higher tide so you need to walk a bit to get some deeper water). Consider stopping at the store or market in town before heading to the resort as there’s nowhere really to easily walk for breakfast. Nicely equipped kitchen, AC, comfy beds, nice shower and lots of nice privacy relative to other options. Suvasuva is a paradise!

Wonderful and unique location
Wonderful welcome, the house is beautiful and the location unique, we really enjoyed it. Ringazio Gene and his "assistant" who delighted us with a wonderful and delicious lovo, thanks also to his wife.
Vanua Levu is Fiji's second largest island. Here, you will enjoy water falls, adventure tours, locally caught fresh fish, free range non-GH beef, organic fruits and vegetables, bus, taxi and ferry services with plenty of open country to roam. And, of course, the friendly villagers waving "Bula!" to passersby.
Savusavu town sets on one of the largest bays in the South Seas, providing safe harbour for boats from around the world and great fisheries. It's a small town yet offers enough diversity in shopping and restaurants so you won't feel totally isolated. Visit the Savusavu Yacht Club for some grub and a drink. You're sure to make a friend and hear some fantastic stories from these brave, adventurous travellers and other ex-pats who call this home.
This quaint, friendly town is where Fijians, ex-pats and tourists all gather for their goods, services and entertainment. The large concentration of freehold lands here has attracted a large, diverse community of ex-pats from around the world. From young retirees settling full time to those with second homes, we are a friendly and active bunch. Savusavu is known as "The Hidden Paradise". "Ooooh", Fijians from around the country say, "Savusavu is the TRUE Paradise!"
We're in the middle of nowhere. But we are somewhere. Just 10 minutes from Savusavu (SVU) airport and another 5 minutes to town along the little travelled, tar-sealed Hibiscus highway. Conveniently located reasonably near restaurants, Fiji resorts and services yet far enough away to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the countryside. Guests most often comment about how quiet, relaxing and peaceful it is here.
Your Front Yard: The panoramic view includes grassland, tall swaying palms, and, of course, the gorgeous pacific ocean with the World class snorkeling park. Some SigaSiga snorkelers say this Lagoon is better than many scuba dives! Also, the calm, natural swimming lagoon is only 5-10 minute walk down the beach. Bring your beach towels, pool floats and Esky ice chest (all provided) and enjoy the clean, warm pacific ocean anytime.
Out Back: Creeks and well maintained Trails meander through 99 acres of pristine wilderness. It's a spectacular, lush world to explore. Exotic birds and flowers thrive here under the high canopy of our SigaSiga Forest Reserve.
